The key phrase at Hotel Rurikoh is “born to play, existing for fun,” a quote from the renowned collection of poems “Royjin Hisho” that was compiled in the Heian period. The poem was composed while watching children absorbed in play, and represents the ultimate affirmation of life. It is also our brand image here at Hotel Rurikoh, embodying our wish for our visitors to taste pure, heartfelt satisfaction and comfort.
This poem was also loved by Tokyu Yusui I, a prominent Kaga-Yuzen dyeing master.
